1. Panthéon

   Cultural History

   Neoclassical mausoleum that honors the great men of France such as Voltaire, Rousseau and Victor Hugo. Its majestic dome dominates the Barrio Latino since the 18th century.

   Tip

   Go up to the dome for panoramic views of París. Inside, observe the frescoes that narrate the life of Santa Genoveva, patron saint of París.

2. Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris

   Religious History

   The most iconic Gothic cathedral in París, whose construction began in the 12th century. This monument represents almost 900 years of French architectural history and is a treasure of medieval art.

   Tip

   Although the interior is under restoration, the exterior facade remains spectacular. Walk around the island to appreciate all angles of this Gothic masterpiece.

3. Sainte-Chapelle

   Religious History

   This 13th-century gem stands out for its impressive stained-glass windows that tell biblical stories. It is considered one of the masterpieces of French Flamboyant Gothic art.

   Tip

   The stained-glass windows shine especially brightly at sunset. Go up to the second floor for an immersive experience of the biblical stories illustrated in the glass.

4. Conciergerie

   Political History

   Former royal palace converted into a prison during the French Revolution, where María Antonieta was imprisoned. Its cells and halls trace centuries of French political history.

   Tip

   Don't miss María Antonieta's cell, restored and decorated as a small sanctuary. Available audio guides offer fascinating context about the French Revolution.

5. Pont Neuf

   Historical Heritage

   Despite its name, it is the oldest bridge in París, built in 1607. This bridge has witnessed four centuries of Parisian and revolutionary history.

   Tip

   Cross the bridge slowly to enjoy the views of the Île de la Cité and the Sena. Street artists and antique sellers give it an authentic Parisian atmosphere.

6. Place de la Concorde

   Political History

   The largest square in París and the scene of dramatic historical events, including the execution of Rey Luis XVI during the Revolution. Today it is a symbol of reconciliation and beauty.
